Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Livewell Maui for?

Livewell Maui is for people who want their home, routines, or business to feel easier to manage, but do not want to figure it all out alone. Many clients reach out during a life transition, such as a move, downsizing, a busy season, or a home that has slowly become overwhelming. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from support. If daily life feels harder than it needs to, we can help create more ease.

What areas do you serve?

Livewell Maui serves clients on Maui.

What makes you different from a traditional organizing service?

Livewell Maui goes beyond organizing. The ultimate goal is to help you make more thoughtful choices about the things you use every day.

With Kitchen & Grocery Support, we review your pantry, refrigerator, grocery habits, food labels, everyday ingredients, cooking tools, and simple meal routines with a focus on healthier choices that feel realistic for your life.

With Toiletry & Personal Care Detoxes, we help you detox your bathroom cabinets by reviewing skincare, haircare, body care, makeup, cleaning products, and daily essentials. We use ingredient-review tools as a guide to better understand what’s in your products and identify cleaner, gentler swaps.

With Closet & Styling Refreshes, we look beyond closet organization to include styling, fit, fabric, outfit creation, and what feels good to wear.

Across every service, the focus is always on practical systems, education, and hands-on support that make daily life feel easier to manage.

How much do your services cost?

We offer package pricing which can be used for any service we offer. Hours may be applied to one focused project or spread across several visits for steady ongoing support. All package hours must be used within 30 days, with a 2-hour minimum per visit. A travel fee of $25 applies to areas beyond Makawao, Kula, Haiku, Paia and Pukalani.

4-Hour Package: $350
Best for a focused reset, maintenance visit, or light monthly support.

7-Hour Package: $525
Best for steady monthly support, a deeper reset, or continued progress across one or two priority areas.

10-Hour Package: $675
Best for ongoing lifestyle support, larger projects, multi-area progress, or clients who want regular help throughout the month.

Supplies, organizing products, donation fees, hauling, movers, groceries, or third-party services are billed separately unless included in your estimate.

How long does a project take?

Every project is different. A smaller kitchen, closet, paperwork, or toiletry reset may be completed in one session. Larger home organizing, unpacking, decluttering, or small business projects may be completed over multiple sessions. After the assessment, you’ll receive a realistic timeline and next steps.

Do I need to clean up before you come?

Please do not feel like you need to clean, organize, or make your space look perfect before we meet. Seeing your space as it really functions helps me understand what kind of support would be most useful.

Do I need to be involved, or do you do the work for me?

It depends on the project. Some projects require your involvement because decisions need to be made. Other tasks can be handled more independently once we have a clear direction. You can be involved where your input is needed, or step back while the work gets done.

Will I have to get rid of my things?

You are always in charge of what stays and what goes. I may ask questions to help you decide what is useful, meaningful, or ready to be released, but I will never pressure you to part with anything before you are ready.

How do you handle sentimental items?

I understand that sentimental items must be handled with care and patience. The process is never rushed. We can sort through meaningful belongings together and set items aside for later review.

Do you bring supplies?

I bring basic supplies such as measuring tools, labels, markers, sorting materials, and trash bags when needed. Any additional supplies are purchased with your approval at no extra markup.

What happens to donation items?

I can help sort, organize, and prepare donation items. Then I can arrange donations, consignments, and trash removal depending on the size of the project.

Do you take photos in my home or business?

Photos may be taken for planning, reference, or before-and-after documentation, but your privacy is always respected. No photos will be shared publicly without your permission.

Is our work together confidential?

Yes. Your home, belongings, routines, paperwork, business information, and personal details are treated with care and confidentiality.

Do you work with seniors or kupuna?

Yes. I can support older adults with organizing, decluttering, downsizing, kitchen support, paperwork organization, unpacking, and simple home systems. I do not provide medical care, personal care, transportation, or emergency support.

Do you offer nutrition or medical advice?

No. Kitchen & Grocery Support is not medical nutrition therapy, diagnosis, or treatment. I offer guided grocery shopping, label reading, healthy pantry swaps, kitchen setup, simple healthy meals, and food routines. For medical conditions, medications, or clinical nutrition needs, please continue working with your doctor, dietitian, or healthcare provider.

Do you offer financial, legal, or tax advice?

No. Tech & Admin Support can help organize paperwork, files, email, household records, bills, due dates, and basic systems. I do not provide financial, legal, tax, medical, or estate advice. Sensitive documents can be organized and set aside for the appropriate professional.

Do you work with small businesses?

Yes. Livewell Maui supports small businesses with behind-the-scenes organization, digital files, supplies, inventory systems, labels, signage, customer-facing materials, and everyday workflows that make operations easier to manage.
